Position Summary:
The administrative assistant intern will provide administrative, clerical and HR support to the office staff, with a focus on assisting the entire Kanzu Code team.
Duties and Responsibilities ;
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Admin and HR functions and duties Including but not limited to ( budget drafting, Office expenses, maintenance and tidiness
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in data management preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leave, etc)
- Communicate with the team when necessary when necessary
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews via google meet
- Assist conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Participate in departmental business improvement assignments and projects
- And any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Recent University Graduate with a strong academic record in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field
- Good at Computer skills like typing, proof reading.
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn new things quickly
- Effective at collaboration.
- Commitment to impact and a strong interest in community development
- Ability to work extremely independently
- Fluency in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn new things
- Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic, and attention to detail
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving
